More Than a Century at Sea
The El Dougeshy family has deep roots in Egypt's yachting industry, dating back to Muhammad Ali Pasha's military fleet. Its Alexandria workshops contributed to major maritime projects, including rebuilding rocket launchers after the 1973 war. This heritage continued through Hurghada Shipyard and the establishment of South Red Sea Shipyard.

Shipbuilding Expertise
South Red Sea Shipyard specializes in the construction, repair, and refit of yachts, workboats, and commercial ships. Its facilities include workshops for carpentry, metalwork, welding, and mechanics, supported by CNC, laser, and plasma technology, as well as direct access to spare parts and equipment. In 2021, the shipyard partnered with the Suez Canal Authority to build 20 tugs and 10 fishing vessels, all class approved.
