The RIZK Fishing Vessel Program
The development of the RIZK class represents an important step in the modernization of Egypt's fishing fleet.
According to the Suez Canal Authority, the program includes 12 high-seas fishing vessels divided between long-liner and trawler configurations. The vessels are approximately 50 meters long and designed for unrestricted navigation, with integrated systems supporting fishing, fish production, and packaging.
The program is part of broader efforts to strengthen Egypt's fishing capabilities and introduce modern technologies into the country's fishing fleet.
